Mark Willians Biography:

Mark started deejaying back in the late 80's at legendary parties Energy and Sunrise and then spent a number of years playing at some of the most respected club nights in the UK scene such as Ultimate Base, Final Frontier, Sex Love & Motion and Full Circle. After building a successful career as a Techno DJ, Mark felt it was only natural to start producing music. He started working alongside Matt Clayden in the early days under the guise of M&M, producing a plethora of memorable dance tracks in 1990-92. Later Mark and Matt changed their style and were no longer M&M, but instead became 'Acorn Arts' with their label 'X - Gate'; producing such tracks as 'Body', 'Vanilla' and 'The Drum'. After a couple of years Mark felt it was time to make the next step and go solo taking the producer name 'Acorn Arts' along with him. Since then Mark has developed into a prolific producer & DJ with a distinctive style that has enabled him to play at some of the most respected clubs on the scene; thus insuring him a place on The World-Wide Ultimatum '98 Tour with the legendary Carl Cox.

His productions have been released on labels like Billy Nasty's Tortured, Gayle San's Equator label, Ben Sims' Ingoma, Dark House Music and Artificial Vinyl. Recently he set up his own label with Spaniard Aitor Ronda called Real Vinyl which has already seen releases from Ben Sims, Gayle San and Mark himself, with an EP from Mark Broom set to drop shortly.
